Abalimi Bezekhaya is a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) working to empower the disadvantaged through urban agriculture and environmental programmes and projects.

They have an annual newsletter which is their single most important communication tool, as it reaches many and aims to inspire and retain Friends of Abalimi who love their work and contribute freely whenever they can ie: inspire people to become friends and to donate freely.  The secondary aim is to provide information for researchers, journalists and act as the Annual Report for. The third aim is to use the newsletter as a networking tool/document for other social purpose agencies to know about Abalimi.

We created a look and feel which is friendly, informative, personal but still has an element of professionalism. The tabloid style of the newsletter makes it approachable and familiar, while the bright colours and design elements give it a fresh look.
